This is by no means offical. There are very few hard dates meantioned in the series, so most of this is based on X's abilities and those that fight with him. You are welcome to polietly discuss this time line on the Island Attacker's forums.

Also, I know it's supposed to be 21XX, but I'm putting it as it is shown below for ease of keeping track of the years. Besides, it's hard to distingish between two of the same dates and all.

April 10th, 2120- Cain unearths Dr. Thomas Light's Lab.

April 13th, 2120- Cain finds the capsule mentioned in Light's notes.

April 14th, 2120- Cain opens the capsule and awakens "X".

November 22nd, 2120- Cain completes his first "Reploid".

Between January 3rd and February 16th, 2121- Reploids start going "Maverick", only three instances between the dates.

February 16th, 2121- The Maverick Hunters are created. Cain's latest Reploid, Sigma, takes command.

June 4th, 2121- Sigma goes Maverick and starts the first official uprising. X goes off to battle him, along side a new Reploid, Zero.

June 6th, 2121- X stumbles across the first of what are to be many capsules left by his creator, Dr. Light, meant to upgrade his systems to aid him in battle.

July 4th, 2121- Sigma's fortress is found and X and Zero go off to stop Sigma. Zero sacrifices himself so that X could beat Vile, and X goes on to destroy Sigma's body. Sigma warns X that he'll be back.

January 1st, 2122- Maverick Hunters upgraded to effectively Version 2.

January 4th, 2122- X returns from dealing with a Maverick base to find out that a group of Mavericks had taken over an island city, preparing to attack the world.

January 6th, 2122- X learns that the ones leading the Mavericks in this attack call themselves the X-Hunters and have gathered up Zero's parts. They issue a challenge to X that if he wants Zero back to fight for his parts.

January 7th, 2122- X recovers Zero's legs from the X-Hunter Agile.

January 9th, 2122- The battle between the X-Hunter Serges and X is a hard one, but X prevails and comes out of it with Zero's head.

January 12th, 2122- The last of the X-Hunters, Violen, battles X but is defeated, giving up Zero's body and arms.

January 18th, 2122- The location of the X-Hunters is discovered and X heads out to do battle with them while Zero's recovery progresses slowly in the Maverick Hunter base.

January 19th, 2122- X reaches the heart of the base and after destroying the three X-Hunters only to watch as the base is destroyed by Sigma's hands. X rushes after Sigma to stop him, followed not too much later by Zero. X defeats both of Sigma's forms while Zero destroys the computer.

November 18th, 2123- Repliforce Version 1 created.

May 6th, 2125- A Reploid by the name of Doppler appears and announces his discovery of what causes Reploids to go maverick, and the subsequent cure for it.

June 10th, 2126- Doppler begins to gather a following of Reploids and starts work on Doppler Town, a utopia for Reploids.

August 20th, 2130- Repliforce Version 2 created.

September 18th, 2134- Doppler Town has grown beyond previous expectations and currently is one of the biggest, and so far only, city for Reploids.

October 20th, 2134- Maverick Hunters upgrade to V3.

January 4th, 2135- Doppler shocks the world when he declares war on it, the thousands of Reploids in his city joining him, the cure he devised nothing but a ruse.

January 5th, 2135- X and Zero, along with their respective units, are sent out to Doppler Town to stop Doppler.

January 6th, 2135- Doppler sends his army out to attack and destroy the Maverick Hunters, but it fails as X and Zero return post haste.

January 8th, 2135- X has a run in with one of Doppler's henchmen, the swift and nimble Bit, and the two battle each other but Bit runs away before X can finish him.

January 9th, 2135- X disappears for a few hours while in Doppler Town only to reappear, saying how Doppler seemed to have rebuilt Vile.

January 10th, 2135- X battles the second of Doppler's henchmen, the powerful Byte, and barely comes out of it with his life.

January 13th, 2135- The location of Doppler's secret underground lab is unearthed and X and Zero both head out as quickly to stop Doppler.

January 14th, 2135- X battles Doppler deep in his lab, and not long after Doppler's defeat, finds out that Sigma still lives. Doppler urges X to go on and delay Sigma long enough for the anti-virus he installed into Sigma's battle body to work on him. X destroys Sigma's battle body before the anti-virus can work on him fully, and begins a long painful retreat to a dead end. Zero then shows up and uses his saber coated with the anti-virus to trap Sigma and he and X escape the self-destructing lab.

April 16th, 2136- A Reploid named Techno hacks into the Hunter's Mother Computer and starts altering Reploid commands. Aiding him are two Reploids calling themselves Shadow Hunters, Zain and Geemel. X rushes into the Mother Computer with the help of Techno's brother Middy, and battles through the zones that Techno created from X's past missions. At the end, X battles Sigma yet again, defeating the Virus once again.

November 18th, 2139- Reploids around the world start dying as their programming seems to vanish with out a trace. X and Zero are sent out to the place where the majority of the attacks are happening, and are also assigned to be the test subjects for a new Navigator Program with Iris being the Navigator assigned to them. Once on the island, the two Hunters discovered that it was under control of the Mavericks Gareth and Berkana. The two had brought back a bunch of the old Maverick Generals that X and Zero battled in the past to defend the island from intruders.

November 22nd, 2139- After having dispatched of the eight Maverick Generals, X and Zero rush off to do battle with Berkana and Gareth respectively. After beating the two, they discover that once again Sigma is behind this plot and the two battle the evil virus together. After destroyed, the Souls of the Reploids return to their owners, and all is as it was before.

January 1st, 2140- Creation of Repliforce Version 3.The 21st and 0 units of the Maverick Hunters are combined for the 4th version of the Hunters officially, but unofficially are still led by X and Zero respectively.

October 31s, 2140- The Sky Lagoon is attacked and destroyed despite the efforts of X and Zero. The Repliforce is blamed for destroying Sky Lagoon, causing the same to defect against the humans to form their own nation.

November 5th, 2140- Zero is issued a challenge by Colonel, and he rushes off to stop him. The battle is cut short when Iris interrupts it and begs Colonel to spare Zero.

November 10th, 2140- X confronts the rouge Maverick Hunter Magma Dragoon deep in a volcano. He learns that Magma was responsible for Sky Lagoon's destruction. With his last breaths, Magma tells X that he just wanted to battle him, and did what he did because he was told that he could get what he wished for.

November 12th, 2140- Zero battles a mysterious Maverick known as Split Mushroom in the middle of an abandoned Biolab while X confronts the Maverick Cyber Peacock in Cyberspace. Both Mavericks swear loyalty to a third faction in this war, but X and Zero do not get any more information from them.

November 15th, 2140- The Repliforce heads off into space, and X and Zero rush off to stop them. They are stopped by Colonel, who ends up being destroyed by Zero in the end.

November 16th, 2140- X and Zero begin their assault on the Final Weapon, splitting up as they do so. X soon runs into Double, a double agent placed in the ranks of the Hunters, while Zero finds Iris waiting for him, holding a dark energy core. They all do battle, X destroying Double quickly while Zero reluctantly battles, and subsequently kills, Iris. X tells Zero to return to base, but Zero refuses and the two continue on to the General's quarters. Once there they battle the large Reploid until the Final Weapon begins to shake. The General not being in any shape to investigate, Zero and X rush off to the control room. There they find Sigma is alive, and X learns that Zero used to be a Maverick. Pushing all that behind them, the two go on to defeat Sigma, and the General sacrifices himself to stop the Final Weapon from firing.

April 10th, 2150- Cain dies of natural causes.

November 6th, 2154- The Maverick Hunters are brought up to a fifth version. Signas, Alia, Douglas, and Lifesavor join at this time.

March 4th, 2158- Sigma hires Dynamo to attack the space colony Eurasia, having the mercenary infect the entire colony with his virus.

March 6th, 2158- Sigma does battle with X and Zero. Upon his defeat, his virus explodes from his body, infecting the world. Dynamo sends Eurasia on a collision course with Earth. X and Zero are commanded by Signas to find the parts needed to strengthen the Enigma Cannon. The Cannon fails to destroy enough of the colony, and so the two hunters go out to find parts to strengthen a space shuttle. During both parts they do battle with Dynamo, who is just trying to slow them down. As soon as the shuttle is ready, Zero pilots it into the colony, but the attack fails, and Zero is presumed KIA when they can't pick up any trace of him. After the colony crashed into Earth, they find out that Zero is indeed alive, but changed.

March 7th, 2158- X rushes out to the site of the Eurasia crash just mere hours after it happened. There he finds that the virus seems to be altering the area, and he dives into it. Along the way he avoids manifestations of the newly created and dubbed Zero Virus. Near the deepest part of the site, X finds the virus ridden Zero. The two of them battle, neither side seeming to have the upper hand. Just as it seemed that X had beaten Zero, Zero gives off one last attack, paralyzing X. The two lie helpless on the ground as Sigma arrives to destroy X. Zero regains his senses at that point and chases the maverick off, going after him. X regains power and soon is chasing after the two. The battle is fierce, and Sigma attacks the two in a new battle body, but he is still defeated. Zero sacrificed his life to make sure X survived, but while X holds the remains of his friend, Sigma tries for one last attack, shooting both Hunters square through the chest. Zero fires off one last blast at Sigma before all three go off-line.

March 10th, 2158- X awakens in the Maverick Hunter medical bay. No one knows how he showed up at the door stop, fully repaired and with Zero's saber next to him. Zero is put on MIA status, avoiding KIA status due to X's urgings. The Reploid scientist Gate scavenges through the remains of the Eurasia colony, coming up with an extraordinary find.

March 31st, 2158- X rushes off to the Eurasia crash site to deal with a large Mechaniloid that is out of control. There, he sees a figure that is eerily similar to Zero, and he meets with the Reploid known as High Max. High Max is investigating the reports of Reploids going mad with this new virus known as the Nightmare Virus, which Zero is claimed to be spreading. X battles the Reploid, but finds that he can't damage him. High Max soon leaves and X is charged with finding out what's going on with the Nightmare Virus.

April 10th, 2158- X corners the Nightmare Zero and begins a tough battle. He ends up destroying the rouge copy of Zero, and as he regains his breath, the real Zero steps out of the shadows. The two team up to take on the rest of the Nightmare Investigators.

April 14th, 2158- Gate's lab is discovered, and Zero and X head off to battle with Gate. Inside they battle and destroy High Max and soon after they battle Gate. With Gate's last breath, he tells them that Sigma lives, and the two vow to go destroy the virus. Once they find Sigma, though, they discover that he is nothing more than a crazed lunatic that wants to destroy them, and they easily dispatch of him.

December 9th, 2159- X resigns from active duty at the Maverick Hunters, detesting all the violence that has befallen the world.

January 1st, 2160- The Red Alert Syndicate is formed and quickly gains members and fame.

July 4th, 2160- Young Reploid Axl leaves Red Alert, hating how things were going with the group. His former team doesn't like this, and sends a large Mechaniloid after him. As he escapes, Zero is sent out to investigate what is going on, and soon is battling along side Axl to destroy the Mechaniloid. Once it was destroyed, Zero took Axl in for questioning.

July 5th, 2160- The leader of Red Alert, Red, contacts the Hunters, wanting Axl returned. When they say no, Red decides to make a contest out of the problem, releasing the Mavericks that they have in custody out on the world. If the Hunters beat them, and then Red himself, they keep Axl. Otherwise they have to return Axl and disband themselves.

July 14th, 2160- X brings himself back into the fray to help Zero and Axl out with the Mavericks and rescuing the Reploids.

July 20th, 2160- Zero, X, and Axl head off to the Red Alert HQ, battling the many traps and Mavericks with in it. They soon find Red and the battle begins soon after. The battle is long and intense, but Red is soon defeated. The HQ then starts to self-destruct and the three Hunters begin their escape, Axl reaching out to try and save Red. They soon find themselves out of danger of the base collapsing on them, but can't find their way out. They soon discover, to their dismay, that the Professor that Red had mentioned was none other than Sigma himself. Another long battle occurs, and they manage to defeat Sigma, but he doesn't give up, knocking Axl out of the way and going after Zero and X to possess them. Axl, using his shape shifting powers, manages to stop Sigma though, and send him plummeting to his doom.

August 5th, 2162- Axl unofficially joins the Hunters, battling alongside X and Zero.

November 8, 2270 - A meteor crashes into the Pacific Ocean, bringing with it a mysterious mineral that is soon labeled, Force Metal.

November 19, 2270 - Force Metal is discovered to enhance the strength and intellect of reploids. This knowledge starts the creation of a city near the crash site called Giga City.

December 9, 2270 - Force Metal infused reploids are discovered to go Maverick if over amplified with Force Metal. This doesn't stop the Government from continuing research into Force Metal.

August 16, 2271 - Epsilon, the first successful Reploid with Force Metal infused in it, is created.

January 8, 2272 - Axl takes temporary leave of the Hunters to search for clues about his origins.

January 15, 2272 - Epsilon banishes all humans from Giga City and demands that Giga City is recognized as an independent Reploid state.

February 6, 2272 - X and Zero are dispatched to Giga City, along with a Reploid named Shadow, to quell the Rebellion Army led by Epsilon. Not long after the three arrive, X and Zero discover that Shadow is a traitor and they are separated.

February 8, 2272 - X wakes up in the Central Tower of Giga City. He soon learns of the Resistance against the Rebellion Army, and plans to help them out. Along the way he meets up with Spider, a bounty hunter after X. Soon after escaping from Spider, he runs across a Resistance member named Alie, who risked his life to make sure X could rescue Chief R, leader of the Resistance. Once X rescued R, he discovered that the tower was set to blow due to the work of Jango. Not too long after stopping the self-destruct, Spider joined sides with X after hearing about Alie's fate, and the two destroyed Jango.

February 10, 2272 - X and Spider head out to a prison camp to rescue more trapped Resistance members, including Nana, who can help them with getting around the area. Once they arrive, they find a big reploid wandering around by the name of Steel Massimo. They learn that he came here to free the other reploids and to destroy Silver Horn. The three managed to rescue all the reploids, including Nana, and continued down to the bottom of the prison camp to confront Silver Horn. Once they met up with the giant reploid, they learned that Steel Massimo wasn't who he said he was. Undaunted, they destroyed the maverick, and Massimo was allowed to join the Resistance as who they say he was, Steel Massimo.

February 13, 2272 - Deciding that they need more help, Chief R sends X, Spider, and Massimo into a large mechanical forest to search for Gaudile, a reploid who could make weapons and help with the satellites at Central Tower. It wasn't long before the trio discovered that they weren't the only ones looking for Gaudile. When they found him, they learned that a Dr. Psyche had stolen Gaudile's Force Metal Generator. When they reached the area it was in, they find Marino, a thief reploid that wanted to rescue Cinnamon, the Force Metal Generator. Hurrying along, they catch up to Dr. Psyche, and destroy both his forms. Cinnamon decides to help the Resistance, as does Marino.

February 16, 2272 - X learns that Zero might still live, and taking a chance, heads out with his friends to the Ulfat Production Facility. Here, they run into Axl, who had come to Giga City looking for clues to his past. Continuing onward, the team delved deeper and deeper into the facility, soon coming across its core and guardian, Mach Jentra. They also find Zero, who joins them to battle the Maverick. After his death, though, the facility starts to go hay wire and produces Preons en mass. Just as all hope seems lost, Axl changes into Mach Jentra and commands the facility to stop, saving them all.

February 17, 2272 - Zero, not trusting of X's new found friends, leaves the group to go fight the Rebellion Army himself. Never the less, the group headed off for the Gimialla Mine to stop the Rebellion Army from getting more Force Metal. As they head down, they run into Shadow, who was powered with a new type of Force Metal, a Supra Force Metal. The battle was harsh on the team, but when things seemed their worse, Zero showed up and helped out, destroying Shadow, but not before Spider was injured in the fight. Zero decided to come along and help them out, despite his earlier misgivings. At the bottom of the mine, they found Incantas, a powerful, Supra Force Metal powered reploid. Just as they beat him, though, Incantas sealed off the exit, preparing to take the entire room with him. Spider selflessly sacrificed himself to make sure that the others could escape, making Zero realize that the reploids of Giga City weren't all bad.

February 19, 2272 - Tired of their transmissions being jammed, Chief R sends X and the others out to Vanallia Desert to take out the Rebellion's jamming devices. Once there, they run into Ferham, one of Epsilon's Generals. Falling into her quicksand trap, the group finds themselves in the base under the desert. Knowing that they weren't expected, they rush through and disable the jamming devices. Once they start on their way out, though, they run into Botos, another of Epsilon's Generals. They manage to beat him, and collect a piece of Supra Force Metal, though Botos manages to escape.

February 21, 2272 - Learning that it takes a lot of Force Metal to make a Supra Force Metal, they determine the only place to make it is the Melda Ore Plants. Once in the plant, the team discovers that Supra Force Metal isn't the only thing being made here. The Rebellion Army had a missile set for launch at the plant, with a Supra Force Metal warhead. They run into Botos and Ferham again, Botos running away yet again while Ferham stands and fights. They beat her, but by the time they reach where the warhead is, the Supra Force Metal is missing, and Botos is dead. Unsure of who took the Supra Force Metal, the team heads back to Central Tower.

February 22, 2272 - The Central Tower gets attacked by Scarface, the strongest and head of Epsilon's Generals. X and his friends go out and stop Scarface, but the general tells them to come to Epsilon's base to finish this once and for all. Agreeing, the team follows soon after, quickly reaching Epsilon's throne room. There they battled Scarface, and then Epsilon, defeating both of them once and for all. Commander Redips, the one who sent X and Zero off on the mission, arrives on scene, taking the Supra Force Metal and congratulating the group on their job well done.

February 23, 2272 - Central Tower comes under attack and is destroyed by Commander Redips's ships, Chief R being one of the casualties. Unable to fathom what Redips was thinking, X and the others rush to his base, only to find it heavily guarded. Destroying the security, the group reaches Redips's office, and confront him. There, they learn that Redips had sent them out so he could get the Supra Force Metal and use its power to rule the earth. They also learn that Redips has the ability to change his form, like Axl does, and that Redips was their formerly thought dead companion Spider. Angered by the turn of events, they battle Redips, forcing him to retreat to his space station, where they prepare for the final battle. Using the power of both the Supra Force Metals that he had, all hope seemed lost for X and his friends when Ferham showed up. Ripping out one of the Supra Force Metals from Redips's body, the others were able to destroy Redips. Ferham, not wanting the Supra Force Metal to be used for evil any more, sacrifices herself to destroy it. X and the others manage to return to Earth safely.
